Never could get to the bottom of why some senders attachments arrive in .dat format sometimes. If you dont want to, or cant, work through a solution together with the sender(s) just get this app.
Plain and simple it does exactly what it is supposed to do and once you buy it, that’s it. You never have to buy anything for it again. It’s a pain not being able to open winmail attachments on a macbook and this app solves that.
This DAT viewer has been a life saver for me. I no longer have to request my clients to send files in a different format or from another computer. Works perfectly, every time..
Ive been using this now for about three months and it is absolutely great! Before Letter Opener Lite it was such a pain when Id get emails with a winmaiI.dat attachment Now with Letter Opener Lite I simply click on the attachment and it opens. Never had a problem. Does exactly what you want it to.

Love that it views and OPENS the winmail.dat file. The app does exactly what it it says and its simple. Price is right. I would recommend to others.

Very simple. Just double click on the windmilI.dat file and it opens correctly. No more needs to be said.I like this app.
